Today, we’re going to breakdown the premiere episode of the animated Star Trek parody series, Lower Decks. This is the much-awaited series by writer/producer Mike McMahon, a longtime Star Trek fan, best known for his work on the adult animated sci-fi series, Rick and Morty.

In this episode, we’ll summarize the plot and discuss the four main characters. Then, we’ll give you our initial impressions of the show.
