Within this special episode of the pod, we will feature a review of Episodes 1-5 of Season Two, providing an overview of the first five episodes and identify intentional changes to the show seemingly in response to fan criticisms regarding perceived canon violations. Then, we will examine common themes for Season Two.

As most of you know, Episodes 1-5 were the last in which Gretchen J. Berg & Aaron Harberts served as the Discovery showrunners and, thus, represented a particular vision for Season 2. So, we decided this would be a good time to take a look at these episodes as a unit. Enjoy.
