“Supernova, Part 2” concludes our first season of this enjoyable show by bringing the journey we’ve been on with these wonderful characters to a satisfying ending. We have watched Dal, Gwyn, Rok-Tahk, Jankom and Zero learn and do things that which they didn’t think they were capable. This episode highlights their growth and entices us with what the future holds. In short, “Supernova, Part II” delivered us a fantastic ending to Season One. Star Trek: Prodigy S1, E19 – “Supernova, Part 1”

“Supernova, Part 1” was a thrilling, and jam-packed beginning installment to this season’s finale. The main thrust of the story features our heroes eliminating every imaginable course of action that could help them stop the Living Construct from initiating the complete annihilation of Starfleet. Those are pretty high stakes for an animated series that was originally designed to be a young person’s introduction to the world of Star Trek. But we’ve said this before, Prodigy’s first season story arc has performed in the same serialized narrative style as the modern live-action Star Trek series. Star Trek: Prodigy S1, E14 – “Crossroads”

“Crossroads” is an appropriately named episode because that’s exactly where the crews of both the Protostar and the Dauntless find themselves, at a crossroads. Their respective quests have them converging on an outpost at the edges of Federation space. When Gwyn, Dal, and Jankom Pog, each encounter a member of Adm. Star Trek: Prodigy S1, E3 – “Starstruck”

“Starstruck,” episode three of Star Trek: Prodigy, picks up where the premiere episodes left off. Dal and the motley crew of the USS Protostar are confronted with more than a few crises, simultaneously. Trouble is, all of them were self-inflicted thanks to an inability to take advice from an authority figure. It’s a good thing being sucked into a black hole with no hope of escaping can make you see more clearly, even it is a momentary change in behavior. Today, we want to introduce you to the latest Star Trek series, Star Trek: Prodigy – an animated series developed to attract younger fans to the franchise. But don’t be fooled. There is a cinematic quality to everything in this show. The sophistication of the animation, music, and story structure of the two-part episode all were of a caliber higher than even our contemporary animated series.
