A Ship of Fools. A Murder of Crows. An Embarrassment of Dooplers? This week, our heroes on the Cerritos have one thing left on their to-do list before they can go to a big, fancy Starfleet party. They have to transport the Doopler emissary to Starbase 25. The only problem, we don’t know more how many emissaries they will be dropping off. It seems as if Doopler have a tendency to rapidly multiply when made to feel embarrassed or awkward socially. One becomes two. Two becomes four. Four becomes sixteen, and so on.
As we do every week on Star Trek: Age of Discovery, we’ll break down the latest Star Trek episode, “An Embarrassment of Dooplers,” the fifth episode from Season 2 of Star Trek: Lower Decks. Afterwards, we’ll summarize the plot and then offer our impressions of the episode. We’ll end this episode with all of the recent news emanating from Star Trek Day, ViacomCBS’s annual event celebrating the premiere of the show in 1966.
