In “Charades,” Spock and Chapel encounter a non-corporeal, inter-dimensional alien species that turn Spock into a full human right before he has to participate in an important Vulcan marriage ritual. “Lower Decks” skips the cold opening to spends more time on the story. Good choice because this week’s action-pack episode is told across three different ships. I guess the title was a clue.
