Star Trek: Lower Decks S2, E8 – “I, Excretus”

At the beginning of “I, Excretus,” our Lower Deckers are repairing a satellite when the Cerritos takes off, stranding them for six hours while the ship answers a distress call. When the Cerritos returns, the ensigns complain that being abandoned was a sign that Lower Decks crew are considered expendable.

Almost on cue, a Pandronian drill instructor arrives to test the crew’s performance readiness. The twist is that the Cerritos senior officers will swap places with Lower Decks crew for these exercises.

But the real twist is what the drill instructor has in store for all of them.
